Recognize Wounds

Recognize wounds in others who might be wounding you. Forgive them and pray for them... easier said than done so here's a powerful prayer from Stormie Omartian's 'Power of the Praying Woman' “The most important thing we can pray about for others is that they will know God better and that He will help them understand His will, grow in spiritual wisdom, and live lives that honor Him. We can pray that they will become more like Him and bear the fruit of His Spirit.” ― Stormie Omartian, The Power of a Praying® Woman Bible: Prayer and Study Helps by Stormie Omartian

God is speaking to you

God is sharing the same important message with pastor's wives... I found this article in 'Just Between Us' and felt so encouragement from the Lord that the message we share through the Chosen ministry He is speaking to many! "It doesn’t matter if you felt this call of God from an early age. God knew you would be the wife your husband needs." Here's more..."Whether you have felt the same call on your life or whether you just “happened” to fall in love and marry a man who wanted to be in ministry, God has placed you in your unique situation for a unique purpose. When things are rough, it’s difficult to see that; we often find ourselves questioning God’s purposes and plans for our lives, our husbands’ lives, and our ministry. Psalm 139 verses 2-3 & 16 have been a great encouragement for me as I live out the call to serve alongside my husband in ministry, “You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways…All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” Check out the link for 'Just Between Us' and read more... GOD IS GOOD!!! PEACE TO YOUR HOMES GIRLS!

She "lacks nothing of value"

Found this yesterday in Christianity Today... 'There is no other occupation — besides, perhaps, being the actual First Lady — in which a spouse is so defined by what her husband does. I cannot think of a single instance in which a woman was expected to give up her gifts and calling in service of her husband, the dentist. Or lawyer. Or plumber. But a woman who is married to a pastor will inevitably face expectations about her role in the congregation that have nothing to do with how she is gifted by God.' May the Holy Spirit show you your gifts that have been placed in you by God that complement you as Partners in the Harvest

Clothe Yourself

Colossians 3:12 – Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Not as easy as it sounds.

Remember to FORGIVE...

Matthew 18:32-35 " Then the master called the servant in. You wicked servant,'he said, 'I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. Shouldn't you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?' In anger his master turned him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed. "This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart" YIKES !!!!!!! Remember to forgive as the Father has forgiven you.

Listen to the Holy Spirit

Proverbs 31:26 She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
